Your promises are for me O Lord
I put my trust in you
You strengthen me when I am weak
just tell me what to do
I listen for your words O Lord and
keep them in my heart
You know me from my insides out
for you I'm set apart
I pray that I will do O Lord all
that's right and good
To keep all your commandments and
live life as I should
For you are with me every day you
guide each step I take
Just fill me with your Spirit Lord
in every move I make
Sometimes I may feel lonely yet I
know that you are there
You never will forsake me I'm in
your tender care
The days when I am feeling down
I only have to pray
And the joy and peace come back
again You take my cares away
