"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." (John 3:16 - 17 KJV)

"THE MASTER WEAVER"

The pattern of our lives is formed
With tender loving care
And He who does the weaving
Works in colours dark and fair.
We see odd strands of colour
As the tapestry unfolds,
Mot understanding why there must be
Greys among the gold's.
But in the Master Weaver's eye
The whole design is clear
For He alone knows why and when
The dark threads must appear -
And if we trust His guiding hand
Then one day we shall see
The final picture woven
In a perfect tapestry.

When my late wife, Jean, was very ill with a terminal illness, "Huntingdon's Chorea", and life was very difficult for all the family a Christian friend sent me an Easter card containing the above poem, "The Master Weaver. This meant much to Jean and I that Easter, as it re-assured us of what we already believed about God and His purposes for our lives.

You may be in a situation that is equally devastating. Life just does not make sense to you! Why not invite God (The Master Weaver) into your situation?

Without Him we wouldn't have made it through. It was His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, who died on the Cross to pay the penalty of our sin and to deal with all the pain and trials of living.

He also rose again so that in Him we might have both abundant life now and eternal life to come. Jean went blissfully into His eternal presence, while I have an on-going relationship with Him.

Do bring your situation to Him . He will never fail you!
