Newbold Baptist Church is pleased to offer the choice of three rooms which may be hired for your event. Typically rooms are hired for meetings and training events but we are open to hiring out rooms for other purposes. We tend not to hire out rooms for parties, childrens or otherwise.
We have regular church activities which will of course take precendence over private bookings.
Church breakfast held in the Main hall
The Main hall which is used for our Sunday services has a capacity of about 100 depending on how the chairs are arranged. It is especially suited for large gatherings or for activities where a large open area is required.
We have a number of tables ideal for training events, business meetings etc. There is a screen useful for presentations. The projector would only be available with our prior permission but you are free to bring in your own audio-visual equipment, flip chart easel and display boards.
Men's Breakfast held in the Meeting room
Our Meeting room which is used for our Sunday school has a capacity of 20 - 30 depending how the chairs and tables are arranged. It is particularly suited to smaller meetings, training events, lectures and seminars. It is next to the Kitchen serving hatch so refreshments can easily be served to attendees in the Meeting room.
Recently decorated and furnished this cheerful room is perfect for small groups up to about 15 persons. The comfy settees and armchairs can be supplemented with stacking chairs and lower height coffee tables. This room is often used by a local community group for their meetings.
This small room would not be hired out on it's own but is suited to a "break-out" group accomodating about 10 attendees on the comfy seating together with additional stacking chairs.
All room bookings include use of the kitchen to brew up, also included tea, coffee, sugar and milk and use of crockery. Water can be boiled by kettle or the water boiler depending on your requirements. Use of the cooker is only by prior arrangement.
Availability will be confirmed at time of enquiry but general availability of space is as follows:
Weekdays - Monday to Friday
Afternoons during school time, Full days during school holidays, some evenings.
Weekends - Saturday
Some mornings and afternoons, preferably for the Meeting and Creche rooms
We prefer bookings to be Monday - Thursday
